Welcome to my site

A sappers tale tells of the 25 years I spent as a Sapper in the Royal Engineers. I started in 1960 as a Boy Soldier at Dover and finishing in 1984 in Manchester a couple of miles from where I had started.

This is the fifth revamp of my site, past visitors will notice the tales are shorter and different in most cases. I hope to change the tales regularly in a bid to maintain interest.
